Moyes set to shuffle pack

Everton boss David Moyes has warned his players that he will have no issue with wielding the axe this term. The Toffees have made a slow start to the 2009/10 campaign, with only three points to show for their efforts so far. They got off the mark on Sunday as a last-gasp penalty from Leighton Baines saw them edge past Wigan 2-1 at Goodison Park. Moyes accepts that performances so far have not been good enough and admits changes need to be made in order to raise the bar. "There are three or four who need a kick up the backside," the Scot said following the narrow success over the Latics. "I've not been able to do that so far because of the injuries we've had. "But hopefully we will be getting some players back soon and if things don't improve then I can make some changes." Moyes is also hoping to bolster his ranks before the transfer window slams shut on Tuesday. "We have let four go out so I need to bring two more in, minimum, to balance things up. "The chairman and staff are working really hard to bring people in."
