Moyes leads charge for Blades defender Naughton as Goodison boss tables new £4m bid
Everton boss David Moyes is set to make a new £4million bid for highly-rated Sheffield United defender Kyle Naughton.
Moyes has been given the funds to increase his offer and wants to bring the 20-year-old right-sided defender back from the Blades training camp in Malta.
The Bramall Lane club are demanding £6m for Naughton, who has already been linked with a move to Villa Park, but Moyes is seen as the major bidder to land the young defender if the right price can be reached.
