Moyes eyes more signings

// A bit of a hack but it works// The article snippet is wrapped onto a second line, even when #article-sub is emptyif( $("div#article-sub").children().length == 0 ) {$("div#article-sub").remove();} Everton manager David Moyes has stated that he hopes to make at least four further signings before the end of the current transfer window.[LNB] Moyes has struggled in the transfer market thus far but recently managed to secure the services of Russian winger Diniyar Bilyaletdinov.[LNB]And now the Toffees will hope to use some of the funds they received from Joleon Lescott's big-money switch to Manchester City to bring in more new faces.[LNB]The Scottish manager revealed that some negotiations have reached advanced stages and is hoping to unveil a new player in the very near future.[LNB]"I would be disappointed if we didn't get at least four, maybe more," Moyes told Everton's official website.[LNB]Progress"We've made quite a bit of progress I feel and maybe I'll be able to announce something shortly, but not yet.[LNB]"The job is to try and make it (the squad) stronger every year and that's what we'll aim to do."[LNB]Moyes' side, who have otherwise endured a poor start to the season, will take a 4-0 cushion into the second-leg of the Europa League qualifier with Czech outfit Sigma Olomouc on Thursday.[LNB]Despite the huge deficit, Sigma coach Zdenek Psotka is hoping to rattle the visitors early and make life difficult throughout.[LNB]"We will try to do everything not to repeat the first match with Everton. We will have to be productive and score from our chances," he said.[LNB]"I believe that if we score at the beginning of the match we could make Everton a bit nervous and make Everton's way to the Europa League less simple."[LNB]
