Everton manager David Moyes is refusing to rest on his laurels and has set his players the challenge of finishing fifth in the league.[LNB] The Toffees could be forgiven for taking their foot off the pedal after beating Manchester United on penalties to secure a FA Cup final spot against Chelsea on 30th May.[LNB]But Moyes will not let up and wants his side to climb above Aston Villa in the race for fifth place in the league.[LNB]The Toffees boss, whose side face Manchester City at Goodison Park on Saturday, said: "The cup final is a long way ahead so I don't want my players to take their eye off the ball.[LNB]"We want to finish above Aston Villa in fifth place and with a decent points total. If we were to claim that spot it would be a terrific achievement.[LNB]"We have to try and keep moving forward and it has been another year of progress as we have reached a cup final.[LNB]Development"The club as a whole is moving on, we are well under way in its development and trying to bring it back to the top again.[LNB]"It has not been done with a lot of cash, it has been done correctly with decent management. But if we are going to push them (the top four) we are going to have to get some money in to improve the squad."[LNB]Everton's supporters will raise the roof when they welcome the cup finalists home on Saturday, and Moyes has been quick to praise the fans.[LNB]He said: "The players deserve a reception because of their efforts on Sunday and in midweek.[LNB]"But the fans also deserve a round of applause because undoubtedly they played their part.[LNB]"The way the players went about their work was fantastic. I am really pleased the way they have conducted themselves. They are expected to perform week in, week out, and in the main they have done that.[LNB]Terrific"To reach the final has been terrific for the players and everyone connected with the club. We want to make sure we go on and win it.[LNB]"We feel good about ourselves and have a lot of confidence. Hopefully we will be able to show that on our return to Goodison.[LNB]"Manchester City have some talented players but we want to maintain our good home form of recent weeks."[LNB]On-loan striker Jo will sit out the match as it is against his parent club so Louis Saha could get a starting berth.[LNB]Moyes said: "I have been quietly pleased with him. He has certainly contributed with his goals and has come on at different times in games and helped us."[LNB]
