Everton manager David Moyes has received no contact from Celtic concerning defender Joseph Yobo.
The Nigeria international has been linked with a season-long loan move to the Scottish Premier League giants. Yobo, a £3.5million signing from Marseille seven years ago, has fallen down the pecking order at Goodison Park and mostly been restricted to a place on the bench since the second half of last season.
Moyes, a former Celtic player, said: "There has been no contact from Celtic directly to me. If there is anything out there I have not heard it directly."
