Moyes delighted after easy win

David Moyes was pleased after his players shrugged off their midweek exertions to beat Bolton 3-0 at Goodison Park.[LNB] On-loan striker Jo was the hero as he scored twice and earned a penalty on his debut for Everton.[LNB]Moyes' side dominated from the off but had to wait until the 40th minute to go ahead via a Mikel Arteta penalty after Jo had been fouled by Andy O'Brien in the box.[LNB]He then doubled Everton's advantage four minutes after the restart and got his second of the day with an injury-time penalty.[LNB]It was a fantastic performance by the Toffees coming so soon after beating Liverpool in extra-time in the FA Cup on Wednesday.[LNB]Asked what pleased him most about the performance, Moyes told Sky Sports: "After the game we had in midweek for the players to come out and do it all again.[LNB]Great credit"The first 45 minutes was maybe as well as we've played at times this season and when we only got the penalty kick and we went in 1-0 up, I thought this might not be enough, maybe tiredness will kick in, but we put the same boys back out again - enforced injuries to (Marouane) Fellaini and Steven Pienaar were the only changes we made - I have to give them great credit for going and doing it.[LNB]"The players have been fantastic."[LNB]He believed his side had got into their rhythm straight away after their performance against Liverpool in midweek.[LNB]"They've passed it well again - Tim Cahill misses a great chance after a minute or so and I think overall, I think we had bits of play which I thought were excellent, we made chances but then I thought 'oh maybe it's going to be one of these days, we're not going to get the goal and things might fade away' but they've never done that, they kept going and they got the rewards in the end."[LNB]He agreed Jo's goal so soon into the second half had been crucial given that there was a question mark whether fatigue would kick in.[LNB]Job's done"It did a little bit when we got the second goal but I think the players sort of thought 'well the job's done now' and they sat back, which they were right to do so because they were tired at that period."[LNB]He praised two-goal hero Jo after his fantastic debut for the Toffees.[LNB]"I thought he was excellent today. I think that he was a bit unlucky not maybe to score another two or three goals and he had a big impact," he said, adding the players at Everton had been great in helping him to settle in at the club.[LNB]But Moyes did admit that if he had more players available, he may well have started Jo on the bench.[LNB]"But we didn't have the bodies so we put him out and he certainly didn't disappoint me or the supporters that's for sure."[LNB]
