Moyes bids to revive Jo

Everton boss David Moyes believes his players will help new signing Jo rediscover his best form and goal-scoring touch at Goodison Park.[LNB] The Brazil international managed just three goals for Manchester City following an £18 million move from CSKA Moscow last summer.[LNB]But Moyes hopes a loan move to Everton will be of mutual benefit, given the Toffees' absence of strikers through injury. [LNB]With Ayegbeni Yakubu, Louis Saha, James Vaughan and Victor Anichebe still sidelined for Saturday's visit of Bolton, Jo looks likely to figure at some stage.[LNB]ContentionMoyes said: "He comes into contention because of our situation with numbers. We are a little bit short.[LNB]"I've looked and I think he is lacking a bit of confidence. He's not as match fit as we'd like but I expected that.[LNB]"If I had my way I'd rather keep him and build him up for a few weeks but I'll need to see what I've got for the game before I decide that.[LNB]"I can see the reasons why maybe at the moment he is having a bit of a struggle and I've got to look at how we can help him.[LNB]"Hopefully the players here will help him. They are a good group and they will try to help him regain his form and in turn help us by scoring some goals."[LNB]ReadyJo, 21, insists that he is ready to answer the call whenever Moyes needs him to help Everton cement their place in the top six.[LNB]"I am well prepared physically and mentally. I have been training hard and I'm raring to go," Jo told Everton TV.[LNB]"I know it is only a loan but I will do my best to score goals and help Everton finish in the best position possible.[LNB]"If it is in the best interests of both parties, myself and Everton, I would be more than happy to remain at the club."[LNB]Meanwhile, Moyes told Sky Sports News that Anichebe is out of consideration for the visit of Bolton because of injury.[LNB]He refused to answer questions regarding reports of a training ground bust-up earlier this week.[LNB]
