Everton manager David Moyes admits he has been forced to play Jermaine Beckford more than he would have liked this season.[LNB] The former Leeds United striker is seen as one for the future and Moyes was hoping to give him time to adjust to the rigours of Premier League football.[LNB]Beckford has ended up starting three times, and coming off the bench in three other league games for Everton already, something Moyes was keen to avoid so early in his Goodison career.[LNB]The club's long-serving manager does not want too much pressure on his shoulders too soon, stating that Beckford will come good for the club given time.[LNB]"What I wanted was him coming off the bench but I ended up starting with him early on," said Moyes.[LNB]"People are saying he is not settling in but Leighton Baines and Phil Jagielka both took a year to settle.
