MIKEL ARTETA is desperate  to finally overcome his injury  hell in time to play a part in  next month's Merseyside  derby.[LNB]The inspirational Spanish  midfielder has been out of  action for almost a year,  since tearing his anterior  cruciate knee ligaments  against Newcastle last  February.[LNB]But Arteta is back in  training - and aiming to be  fit in time for the lunchtime  clash with Liverpool at  Anfield in just under three  weeks.[LNB]Blues boss David Moyes  said: 'Mikel is doing much  better. He's been training for  a week and a half with the  team albeit with little  contact, and I think we will  try and up his training this  week.[LNB]'If things go to plan we  may be looking to see him  back in the next three or  possibly four weeks.'[LNB]The 27-year-old suffered a  fresh setback in November  when he picked up a  post-operation infection in  his knee.[LNB]The complex rehabilitation  schedule Arteta was forced  to embark upon, meant that  Everton were reluctant to  even suggest a date when he  may return to action.
