Marouane Fellaini given dressing down by David Moyes after Everton FC quit talk

MAROUANE Fellaini has been issued a severe dressing down by David Moyes following comments that suggested he would leave Everton by the start of next season. The midfielder was speaking at an open press conference while on international duty with Belgium last weekend when asked about his future. He reportedly said he would be open to the prospect of leaving Goodison in January or next summer, although later released a statement on his Facebook page insisting he was happy on Merseyside. And a clearly unimpressed Moyes said: “We've had a chat about it, and any disciplinary action is between me and him. “I do think that sometimes when players go away on international duty their egos are massaged by international journalists and things are said, perhaps because they think they're speaking to different people and they let their guard down a bit. “These things happen, and we move on. But where's he going to go? The transfer window is shut! “I won't say there's no chance in the next window because everybody is available throughout the world if the offer is right, but one thing I know is the transfer window is closed, so he's not going anywhere right now, and there's three months to the next window, which is a long time.” Latest Everton FC News David Moyes to scour free agent market to bolster Everton FC midfield after Darron Gibson ruled out for three weeks Sep 15 2012 Everton FC manager David Moyes pays tribute to the Hillsborough families Sep 15 2012
