Lucas Neill, 31, has severed his ties with West Ham after the club drew a line under negotiations about a new deal. Manchester City, Portsmouth, Everton and Olympiakos are interested in the Australian full-back who rejected a one year extension on reduced terms. Neill has now left Upton Park as boss Gianfranco Zola culls his squad ahead of the new season. Diego Tristan, Lee Bowyer, Walter Lopez, Kyel Reid, Tony Stokes and Jimmy Walker have all been told they can leave, while the loans of Jan Lastuvka, Radoslav Kovac and David Di Michele will not be renewed. Coming the other way are Calum Davenport and Julien Faubert, whose respective loan spells at Sunderland and Real Madrid have ended.
