Louis lifts the lid on leech cure

Everton striker Louis Saha has revealed he has used leeches to help his chronic knee problems.[LNB] The 32-year-old France international has been troubled by problems in his knees throughout his career, resulting in a number of lengthy spells on the sidelines.[LNB]However, the Toffees frontman has visited his grandparents in Guadeloupe and used the unorthodox technique, which appears to have eased his pain.[LNB]"I went to visit my grandparents in Guadeloupe and I put leeches on my swollen knees," he said. "Since then I've had a knee that is not quite right but given what happened to my ligaments I have to accept it.[LNB]"It swells up less and I feel fine now."[LNB]Saha is in line to play for France against Belarus on Friday night, having made one Premier League start and two substitute appearances for David Moyes' men this season.
