Loan return for City's Jo

Manchester City striker Jo will be returning to Goodison Park for a further season after his successful loan spell was renewed and extended for the upcoming campaign.

Everton were working hard to complete the paperwork in time for the Friday night friendly against Bury, a match the Brazilian will attend in any case after being involved in the club's training camp in Scotland.

After his £18million arrival from CSKA Moscow last summer the 22-year-old struggled to make an impact in Mark Hughes' side and, after the recent signing of Roque Santa Cruz, will be pleased to be preparing for a season of first-team football.

The clash with Bury could also see new signings Anton Peterlin and Skhodran Mustafi involved, while Luke Garbutt will not play as his transfer from Leeds United heads to a resolution through a tribunal.
