Impressive: Landon Donovan excelled on Merseyside in January[LNB]Landon Donovan has stoked the fire of his collapsed move to Everton by using Twitter to reveal his desire to press ahead with a move to Merseyside, and even opened the door to a permanent switch. [LNB]Earlier this week the LA Galaxy captain revealed he had been advised to rest in the MLS off season rather than return to Europe where he enjoyed a fruitful spell in 2010.[LNB]Everton were confident they could iron out a similar deal next month to the one from which they benefited in January this year. [LNB]However Galaxy chief Bruce Arena has told Donovan he should ease up in the coming months after two years of almost continual football. The former USA head coach has given David Beckham the same advise. [LNB]On Wednesday the 28-year-old said: 'I feel it is important to continue to rest and recover this off-season as opposed to going on loan. I enjoyed my time at Everton last season and still appreciate all the support their fans have given me.[LNB]'I never considered being loaned to a club other than Everton, but I have been playing nearly non-stop for the past two years and I believe that this decision will allow me to perform at my best for the Galaxy and the national team throughout the upcoming year.[LNB]'I look forward to rejoining my Galaxy team-mates for the start of pre-season training next month and beginning our quest for another MLS Cup championship.'[LNB]Last night, though, it seemed as if he was still open to the idea. [LNB] Twittering: Landon Donovan answered questions from fans on the social media site[LNB]On Twitter, the 28-year-old simply replied 'Yes' when asked, 'if i win the lottery and i gave moyes 12 million to bring you to goodison for good,,,would u consider?' by Everton fan ditchoefc11.[LNB]He was equally swift when rubbishing the notion of a switch to Liverpool.[LNB]Later he laughed off suggestions an offer from Barcelona or Manchester City would be able to sway him away from the Toffees. [LNB]'What if Man City offered you $150k per week?' posed @usarsnl. 'Nope,' was the reply.[LNB]Before @baladikaaa asked, 'what if barcelona offered $200k per week'. [LNB]'I'm not taking a pay cut', Donovan joked.[LNB] Blow for Everton as Donovan reveals he won't be joining again on loanCahill is Everton's pocket assassin!
