Kay lands Tranmere player award

Tranmere captain Antony Kay has been named as the League One outfit's player of the season after scoring 12 goals this season.The versatile midfielder scooped the supporters' award at the club's annual awards dinner after beating off competition from Steve Jennings, Ben Chorley, Ian Goodison and Ian Moore .Aaron Cresswell won the players' young player of the season and Jennings landed the players' player of the season award.Charlie Barnett won the young player of the year prize and the goal of the season honour went to Ryan Shotton for his effort against Colchester at Prenton Park.[LNB]
