Jones - If the price is right

Dave Jones has conceded that the future of Joe Ledley would be 'out of his hands' if the club receives a high offer for his services. The highly-rated Welshman has been linked with a move to the Premier League this summer, with Everton said to be monitoring his situation. Ledley has one year remaining on his current deal and talks have yet to begin over an extension at Ninian Park. Jones said in the Daily Express: "You can't let players run down their contracts and go for free, so there will be decisions that are made that don't fare well with everybody. "That is a hard fact of football. If the price is right, the club will have to take a calculated view. "If a player has one year left on his contract and the money is right then the decision might be taken out of our hands."
