Jo-ho-ho: Man City's £19m flop Jo could get Christmas wish and return to CSKA

Flop: Jo has failed to settle at either Everton or Manchester City[LNB]Brazilian striker Jo has been offered a way out of his Premier League nightmare with a return to former club CSKA Moscow.[LNB]The frontman has failed spectacularly to show the kind of form that earned him a £19million move to Manchester City from the Russian capital. [LNB]Mark Hughes' patience run-out by January of Jo's first season and the 22-year-old, who had scored one league goal for City, was farmed out to Everton on loan where, briefly, his goalscoring record improved. [LNB]Jo grabbed a brace on his Toffees debut but soon came unstuck and reverted to type, finding the net just three more times before the season was out.[LNB]Now, with a return of just two goals in 24 appearances on Merseyside this season, CSKA hope to persuade their former player to return to Moscow on a short-term deal.[LNB]The move could become an £11million permanent transfer.[LNB]Jo's agent Giuliano Bertolucci admitted his player's future at Goodison Park was in doubt. He said: 'With regard to Everton, nothing is clear. We haven't spoken about extending the loan or the club buying him from Manchester City.'[LNB]With the World Cup approaching, Jo is nowhere near Brazil coach Dunga's squad, despite knocking on the door when he came to the Premier League.[LNB]He could provide cover at Eastlands during the Africa Cup of Nations in January - ahead of CSKA's season-opener against Sevilla in Champions League a month later - but Eastlands boss Roberto Mancini is likely to add other forward.[LNB] Even my 12-year-old son would pick Robinho over me, admits BellamyEVERTON v Burnley: Captain Neville ready to return after four-month injury hellManchester City close in on Cordoba after Inter star's spat with MourinhoALL THE EVERTON FC
