Jo has admitted he would stay at Everton rather than return to Manchester City if he was given the choice.[LNB] The Brazilian striker joined Manchester City in a big-money move last summer but made a slow start to his Premier League career and soon found himself out of the side.[LNB]Jo was allowed to link up with the Toffees on loan in the winter transfer window and will remain at Goodison Park until the end of the season.[LNB]He has produced a number of impressive performances for Everton and he concedes he feels much more settled as a member of David Moyes' squad.[LNB]"The people here have given me much more support," Jo told The Guardian. "I felt it from the first moment I came to the club and every footballer needs that kind of care.[LNB]"(Everton captain) Phil Neville is never too far away, always asking if I am okay, if I need anything. But it's all the players, not just Phil. They have all looked out for me. It feels like Everton is my home now."[LNB]UnfairJo accepts that he was not happy with the way he was treated at Manchester City and feels he should have been given more opportunities to prove himself.[LNB]He explained: "I think it's a little unfair. I was only there six months and I would call that an adaptation period.[LNB]"In my opinion, you should have at least one season to adapt before everyone judges you. Unfortunately no-one really thinks like that.[LNB]"I find it strange because I had quite a good start and then for some reason - something that has never been explained to me - I was suddenly no longer playing.[LNB]"I was training well, like I normally do, but I didn't have happiness."[LNB]Mark Hughes claimed last month that Jo had a future at Man City but the 22-year-old admits he would prefer to ply his trade with Everton next season.[LNB]"If I had to choose, I will choose to stay at Everton," he stated. [LNB]"But if I have to go back to City, I will go back. I believe in myself and, if I go back, I will try to show what I can do."[LNB]
