Jay Bothroyd leaves Cardiff as Newcastle, Everton, Sunderland circle

ShareJay Bothroyd has left Cardiff City after the club revealed it would not be offering the striker a new contract. Dave Jones's side were beaten 3-0 on aggregate by Reading in the Championship play-off semi-final last week.[LNB]Burke will also leave the Welsh club as a free agent along with Adam Matthews, who will join Celtic, Gavin Rae and Martin John.
