Jags - League remains priority

Everton star Phil Jagielka insists the Premier League remains Everton's main focus this season.[LNB] The Toffees are in the last four of the FA Cup with a semi-final date with Manchester United to look forward to.[LNB]However, they are also sixth in the league and just seven points adrift of fourth place Arsenal and confidence remains high that they could still break into the UEFA Champions League spots.[LNB]"It doesn't come much bigger than Manchester United at Wembley," the England defender told evertonTV. [LNB]"As soon as we got through against Middlesbrough everyone was talking about the semi-final - we're going to Wembley, can we get tickets etc. But we've got some massive games before that. [LNB]"We've not talked about it too much. Every so often it crops up but we've got to try as best as we can to forget about the excitement of going to the semi-final and concentrate on the league.[LNB]"Normally at this stage of the season, things are starting to die down, but fortunately for us we've got ourselves in a decent position in the league, and got a nice little semi final to look forward to.[LNB]"If we can manage to put a good run together now in the league this can make or break our season."[LNB]Pressure offJagielka insists the pressure is off Everton in the league and that they are just hoping to keep up their pursuit on those above them.[LNB]"I think the pressure is off because of the bad start we had," he said. [LNB]"It wasn't a case of us being up there all season. In the second half of the season we've more or less stayed in sixth, so there's not been massive pressure on. [LNB]"Arsenal and Aston Villa have always been quite far ahead of us, but as it is we've clawed a few of the points back and hopefully we can do so until the end of the season and see where we stand."[LNB]
