Jagielka set for derby misery

Everton defender Phil Jagielka is likely to miss this weekend's Merseyside derby with the hamstring injury picked up on international duty. The 28-year-old was forced to pull out of England's Euro 2012 qualifier against Montenegro after breaking down in training. Jagielka will now be assessed by Everton's medical staff having been released back to the Goodison Park outfit, but the club accept the problem is likely to keep him out. His likely absence on Sunday could mean an opportunity for John Heitinga who, despite impressing last season, has not played a full 90 minutes in the Barclays Premier League this term. Striker Louis Saha is hoping to prove his fitness for the Liverpool clash having been out since August with a calf problem.
