ars Jacobsen is the relishing the prospect of making his Everton debut against Newcastle this weekend, a game which can be seen live on Sky Sports 1 and HD1.[LNB] The Denmark international has endured a frustrating start to life on Merseyside following his summer arrival from Nurnberg.[LNB]He dislocated his shoulder while on international duty just two weeks into his 12-month contract at Goodison Park.[LNB]However, he is now back to full fitness and, with Tony Hibbert suspended for Sunday's trip to St James' Park, is looking to force his way into David Moyes' plans.[LNB]"I don't know what will happen on Sunday," Jacobsen told Everton TV.[LNB]"If the manager wants me to play, I'll be ready. It's up to him to decide.[LNB]Patient"I haven't been playing a lot of matches recently so it's up to him to decide if I'm ready. I just have to keep pushing and training and progressing everyday and we'll see when I can play.[LNB]"It would mean a lot to me. I've been here for over half a year now so, of course, it is something that I would like to do very soon. But again, I just have to be patient and wait for the chance."[LNB]Should Jacobsen be awarded his Premier League bow on Tyneside, the defender knows it is an opportunity he must grasp with both hands.[LNB]"It's very important because it's always important to prove that you can play in those kind of games - Premier League games," he added.[LNB]"You need to take your chance when you get it. It's the same thing for every player every week."[LNB]
