Jacobsen has Wembley dream

Everton defender Lars Jacobsen would be achieving his dream if he makes an appearance at Wembley in Sunday's FA Cup semi-final against Manchester United. The 29-year-old came on as a second-half substitute in Everton's Premier League clash with Aston Villa last Sunday, making only his second appearance for David Moyes' team. The Danish full-back says that running out at Wembley would eclipse the experience of lining up at his home country's national stadium. "It would be a dream come true. When you are a boy, you would like to play at Parken, but to play at Wembley is bigger," Jacobsen told Onside.dk. The Toffees will face United at the famous stadium on Sunday and Jacobsen recognises that progressing to the final will be a difficult task, but says that his side are determined not to pass up a rare opportunity to bring a trophy back to Goodison Park. "It will be a very tough match," Jacobsen added. "United have a tremendously strong side and they are usually on top in such matches. It's not often Everton win silverware, so there is a big focus on the match."
