Who is your Sporting hero?[LNB] I was massively into cricket when I was younger and Sir Ian Botham was my idol. He was a natural entertainer. I used to play in the same team as Freddie Flintoff and he had all the same qualities as Botham.[LNB] Which other sportsman would you like to be?[LNB] A cricketer. It's my favourite sport and I played for Lancashire's second XI when I was 15. When I finish playing football, I'm going to join a local club.[LNB] Career highlight?[LNB] Winning the Champions League in 1999. I still get slaughtered for being the first one down the touchline when Ole Gunnar Solskjaer scored the second. The celebrations could never be recreated.[LNB]... and the worst moment?[LNB] Not being selected for France 98. That was probably my best chance of going to a World Cup and to say I was heartbroken would be putting it mildly.[LNB] If your house was burning down, what one possession would you save?[LNB] Can it be two? As long as all my pictures of my wife, Julie, and kids, Harvey and Isabella, were safe, I'd go for Sky+ and my bed. I have a sleep every afternoon.[LNB] What's the best advice you 've ever been given?[LNB] Work hard and enjoy it. That was the motto at Manchester United and I have always lived by those rules.[LNB] [LNB] Favourite karaoke song?[LNB]Hey Jude, by the Beatles. I had to sing it when I signed for Everton in2005 and drank a bottle of wine to get through the ordeal. That wentdown better than when I sang Jingle Bells at that year's Christmasparty. I was pelted with potatoes.[LNB] Three most listened to songs on your ipod?[LNB] The Storm Is Over, R Kelly; Happiness, Alexis Jordan; The Time, Black Eyed Peas (right).[LNB]Last book you read?[LNB] The 90-minute Manager: Lessons from the Dugout by David Bolchover and Chris Brady. It was pretty average. Before that, I read the autobiography of the American football coach Lou Holtz - brilliant.[LNB] Favourite pre-match meal?[LNB] Ham omelette and toast. When I started out, it used to be soup and bread roll followed by chicken, beans and another bread roll finished off with a bowl of custard. I've no idea how I used to play on such an amount.[LNB] Can you cook? Best dish?[LNB] The extent of my culinary skills is toast and cereal. If Julie is away, I'll go to my mum's. If my mum is away, I'll go to my grandma's. I can't cook and won't cook.[LNB] Your Favourite holiday destination?[LNB] Barbados, we've been the last seven years. [LNB]In a film of your life, who wou ld you like to play you ?[LNB] Brad Pitt![LNB] Tell us a secret...[LNB] Seamus Coleman asked me to put him in touch with a rep from adidas, because he wanted some new boots. I gave him a number and he called up blissfully unaware that he was ringing David Moyes. Needless to say he didn't get the two pairs of studs he was after.
