Irvine relishing Green link-up

Everton's academy director Alan Irvine is looking forward to working with highly-rated teenager George Green.[LNB] The Toffees have agreed a deal with Bradford for the youngster join Everton's youth set-up next summer.[LNB]The 15-year-old attacking midfielder had been linked with the likes of Tottenham and Bayern Munich but Everton got there first with a reported initial bid of £280,000 in a deal potentially worth £2million to the Bantams.[LNB]"George is a young player who was attracting interest from a number of clubs," Irvine told evertonfc.com.[LNB]"He has got good potential but at the moment that's all it is. He has got a lot of work to do and he knows that.[LNB]"We're happy to have him and we're looking forward to working with him here at the academy."
