Ian Snodin: MK Dons FA Cup tie was a cracker

I enjoyed the FA Cup tie between MK Dons and AFC Wimbledon, and was pleased that a Scouser, in Karl Robinson, came out on top.

Karl likes his team to play football from the back and they did well in an exciting tie, which I’m glad was settled at the first time of asking. There’s a lot of tension between the two sets of fans but largely they conducted themselves very well, and it would have been pushing it for them to reconvene for a night game. Late goals always equal drama and the broadcasters got their money’s worth. England’s win over All Blacks was all-right by me

One of the reasons we all love sport is because it’s so gloriously unpredictable – and it doesn’t get much more unpredictable than England’s fantastic victory over the All Blacks at Twickenham on Saturday. I was particularly pleased for Chris Robshaw who has had to contend with plenty of stick, but helped lead the team to an inspirational win against one of the all time greatest rugby union sides.
