Ian Snodin: I?ve told my Leeds United player son to sit on his hands if Everton score tonight

I’VE given my son Jordan orders to sit on his hands and not get carried away if Everton score against Leeds United tonight. He’s an U18s player for Leeds and will probably be at the game in his club track suit, so while he’s a big blue I've told him it’s not going to look great if he jumps up should Moyes’ men take the lead. My other lads will be in the away end with the travelling Evertonians and I’m delighted they’ll get to experience the atmosphere of watching Everton on the road, with nearly 5,000 fans getting behind the Blues. Personally I couldn’t have picked a better opponent. It’ll be a big game for me and just as it would have been if we’d got Doncaster I’ll be thrilled to see one of my former clubs take on Everton. Leeds have a man in charge in Neil Warnock who has plenty of big-game experience and his side will work hard and give a good account of themselves that’s for sure. Elland Road might have about 30,000 noisy fans in it and the Everton players will be impressed with the noise levels. Former Liverpool forward El Hadji Diouf will probably raise his game and he’s been doing well since making his move to Yorkshire, so the Blues will be in for a tough game and won’t be able to take it for granted.
