Hibbert - Life without Lescott

Tony Hibbert has urged Everton to move on and continue progressing without defender Joleon Lescott. The England international completed his move to Manchester City on Tuesday evening following weeks of tense negotiations. Lescott has proven a pivotal figure in Everton's line-up in recent season with consistent displays and crucial goals. Hibbert admits David Moyes' squad will be hindered, although he does not believe his team-mates should dwell on his departure. "He's a big loss. He was a great player for us, Joleon, and a great lad as well," he told the club's official website. "The character he brought to the place - he was a great lad to be around. "It's just one of those things - players come and players go, that's football really. "You have friends but the next minute they can go. We've just got to get over it."
