HATCHET MAN: Moyes needs to spend big or exit Europe early if next season is to be a successful one

David Moyes is heading for a fall next season unless Everton find someextra funds from somewhere or they bow out from the Europa League early. The strength of the team he fielded at Fulham yesterday says everything about their lack of depth. With an FA Cup final looming on Saturday, the manager has to worry about hamstring problems sustained by Phil Neville and Steven Pienaarin the win against Fulham. He should have been protecting more players but didn't have the luxury of that many options and if the squad isn't bolstered in the summer a European adventure that includes the group stage (they didn't make itthat far this term) could seriously damage how competitive they are in the Premier League.
