Fulham boss Roy Hodgson is set to make a cut-price £2million move for Middlesbrough midfielder Gary O'Neil in the January transfer window. O'Neil, who joined Boro for £5m in 2007, impressed Hodgson's scouts during his side's 2-0 win over Reading at the weekend, according to The Mirror. Everton, who attempted to sign O'Neil in the summer, are also said to be interested, with David Moyes keen to resurrect a deal now the former Portsmouth ace has returned from injury.
