Fernandes move put on hold

Reports suggest Everton manager David Moyes has cooled his interest in Portuguese midfielder Manuel Fernandes.
Valencia were believed to have been willing to accept £6million for the 22-year-old, if a deal could be concluded before June 20.
However, Goodison officials insist that the club has several other targets in mind and will not necessarily make a move for Fernandes, who has spent two spells on loan at Everton in the past.
He impressed during his first spell with the club in the second half of the 2006-07 campaign, but struggled at times last term.
Fernandes has also admitted that a series of niggling injuries affected his form during his second spell on Merseyside.
There is still the possibility that Fernandes will spend a third spell on loan with Moyes' side in 2008-09 rather than seal a permanent switch.
During his two periods with Everton, Fernandes has scored twice in 24 appearances for the club.
