Fellaini feels ready for battle

Everton midfielder Marouane Fellaini has no doubt he will be ready to tackle Tottenham on the opening day of the Premier League season. Everton's hulking midfielder has been out of action since suffering ankle ligament damage in February. But a hard-fought friendly against Villarreal put the cap on a successful pre-season for the Belgium star. He said: "The Villarreal game was good for me because I have not played all the games in pre-season. "It helped my fitness as it was a hard game against a good team with good players. I still need to play more games and I need more training but I will be ready for Tottenham. "All the players are excited about playing that first game. We are playing a good team and it is an interesting start to the season. Hopefully we can get a positive result."
