Tony Cottee 300[LNB]A REGULAR and reliable goalpoacher - or a flat track bully?[LNB]A predatory marksman who justified his mantle as Britain's most expensive footballer, or selfish and sedentary?[LNB]Like most goalscorers, Tony Cottee divided opinion.[LNB]But it's worth pointing out that no-one has even come close to matching his 99 goal haul at Everton in the 16 years since he left.[LNB]Tim Cahill tops the current Goodison goalscorers' ranks with 56, while Duncan Ferguson managed 72 in his two stints spread over the best part of a decade.[LNB]Tony Cottee scored 99 in his 206 starts, including six hat-tricks, and was top scorer in five of his six seasons at Goodison.[LNB]And the vast bulk of those Everton strikes are on his new DVD release 'Tony Cottee's Career Goals.'[LNB]A man for whom goalscoring was his raison d'etre - he has tracked down video footage of 252 of his 306 career strikes including even some from his spell in Malaysia at Selangor - and it makes for a surprisingly entertaining compilation package.[LNB]Introduced and concluded in trademark fashion by Russell Brand, there are plenty of entertaining interludes from unexpected individuals - Ray Winstone, Mike Parry and Alan Shearer.[LNB]'We were alike in many ways. We each had three main clubs. Southampton, Blackburn and Newcastle for me, West Ham, Everton and Leicester for Tony, and we only won one trophy each, but we did our job didn't we?
