EVERTON'S African Nations Cup chasing duo have a major cash incentive to prolong their stay in Angola.[LNB]But concerned Blues officials are keen to see Joseph Yobo and Yakubu safely back on Merseyside as soon as possible.[LNB]Blues vice captain Yobo limped out of Nigeria's decisive victory over Benin on Saturday with a hamstring injury - while the appalling experience suffered by the Togo players is still at the forefront of everybody's minds.[LNB]But the Nigerian Football Federation revealed last night that each player has been guaranteed 88,500 Nigerian dollars should they win their third Nations Cup title.[LNB]The NFF have already announced that each player will get 30,000 dollars just for qualifying for the knockout stage of Angola 2010 - which a draw with Mozambique in Lubango tomorrow will clinch.[LNB]And the breakdown of the cash incentives indicates why the injured Yobo and Yakubu would be reluctant to suffer an early exit from the tournament.[LNB]A win in the quarter-finals will earn each player a further $10,000, victory in the semi-final would add another $15,000, while winning the final will make each player another $20,000 richer.[LNB]The NFF now pay each player a daily camping allowance of $500, meaning that for the three weeks they will be in Angola, a player will be paid another $10,500.[LNB]They have already pocketed $3,000-a-man as an appearance fee for the competition, bringing the total of these bonuses to $88,500.[LNB]But after Yobo limped out of Nigeria's crucial victory over Benin in their second group match - a victory clinched by Yakubu's successful penalty kick - Everton were keen to bring the defender home to assess the extent of the injury themselves.
