David Moyes has challenged Jermaine Beckford to find the consistency that he believes will enable the striker to become one of the best in the Barclays Premier League. [LNB]Everton's manager had a public falling out with Beckford during last Saturday's 3-0 win at Wolves when he substituted the 27-year-old after a poor second half performance. [LNB]Before that, though, Beckford had shown why Moyes was so keen to gamble last summer when he signed him on a Bosman from Leeds. [LNB]Dressing down: Everton manager Moyes had a public falling out with Beckford at Wolves last week[LNB]'We both knew when he signed that we were both taking a chance,' said Moyes. 'If he wants it, he can really step up to the Premier League. He has the ability. [LNB]'But now it's a lot to do with his desire. He maybe has to come out of that comfort he has been in.[LNB] 'You have to do it for the team. You can't just score the goal and think "that's me, I'm done". At Everton we require more than that.'[LNB] Beckford has scored nine goals this season, including strikes at Stamford Bridge and Anfield, and will lead the line against Blackburn this afternoon. [LNB]Moyes said: 'He is very, very hard to mark. So it's up to him. How much does he want to really make himself a Premier League player? If he wants that, he can do that.'[LNB] Cahill to miss Australia's friendlies in bid to be fit for Everton's new seasonAll the latest FA Cup and Premier League team news for April 16 & 17Goals overlooked as Beckford is cut down to size by Everton boss MoyesAll the latest Everton FC news, features and opinion [LNB]  Explore more:People: Robbie Fowler, David Moyes Places: Leeds
