Everton striker James Vaughan moves to Crystal Palace on loan

The 22-year-old will go straight into the Crystal Palace squad for Saturday's Championship clash at Reading. Vaughan has struggled to command a first-team place at Goodison Park after being hampered by injuries since his breakthrough five years ago. Although the official transfer window has closed, Football League clubs can sign players on an emergency loan for a maximum of 93 days.
