Everton's Ross Barkley extends Sheffield Wednesday loan Sheffield Wednesday have agreed a loan extension with Everton for 18-year-old midfielder Ross Barkley, BBC Radio Sheffield reports.

Barkley has made seven appearances for the Owls since joining them on an initial one-month loan.

And the England Under-21 international scored his first senior goal in last month's 2-1 defeat by Bolton. He is now set to stay at Hillsborough on a week-to-week basis, which is allowed under a youth loan arrangement.
