Everton confident of beating Marseille in race to sign 6m Mbia

Everton are moving closer to finalising a £6million deal for Rennes midfielder Stephane Mbia. David Moyes has been tracking the imposing midfielder, who is also a target for Marseille, for more than a year. The 23-year-old is keen to move to England. Fiorentina have joined Atletico Madrid on the trail of Everton midfielder Steven Pienaar.
