Ashley Williams and Yannick Bolasie set for full Everton debuts versus Yeovil

New Everton signings Ashley Williams and Yannick Bolasie are set for their full debuts in the EFL Cup at home to Yeovil.

The pair came off the bench in Saturday's win at West Brom but are to be given a chance to impress from the off against the League Two side.

Striker Romelu Lukaku, who also made his first appearance of the season after a heel injury as a substitute at the Hawthorns, is set to lead the line.

"For them, it's really important to have game time," said manager Ronald Koeman.

"In the case of Ashley, he did not play a friendly (in pre-season). It will be a very good occasion for him to start playing and to get in that rhythm of the games.

"Bolasie also is a new player and he will start tomorrow. It's the same situation for Romelu because he has not played a lot before.

"Of course, he played the friendly against Espanyol but after that he was 10 days out of training. He needs game time to get in his best shape."

Aside from that trio, Koeman plans to keep changes to a minimum.

On-loan Swansea defender Liam Shephard could return for Yeovil.

Shephard has not featured since limping off during the 2-0 EFL Cup first round victory at Walsall two weeks ago.

Striker Francois Zoko could start for the first time this term after a hip problem and defender Ryan Dickson is fit after picking up a couple of knocks against Morecambe on Saturday.

But central defender Alex Lacey faces about six to eight weeks out after a scan revealed that he had broken his arm in a nasty fall at Luton.
