Everton star Pienaar becomes 16th Premier League player robbed while on the pitch

Steven Pienaar is the latest Merseyside star to be robbed while turning out for his club.  The Everton midfielder joins Steven Gerrard, Lucas Leiva, Dirk Kuyt, Pepe Reina, Daniel Agger, Robbie Keane, Peter Crouch, Florent Sinama-Pongolle and Jerzy Dudek, who were all victims of theft while playing for Liverpool.  A 41-year-old man arrested on suspicion of burglary at Pienaar's home has been bailed.  The 27-year-old South Africa international's home was broken into on Saturday while he was at Goodison Park preparing to play Tottenham, a police source said.  Merseyside Police say officers were called to the house on Woolton Road in the exclusive Woolton suburb of Liverpool at about 2.30pm.  Three white men were seen leaving the house with their faces covered. It is not known if any property was taken. Reports say thousands of pounds in cash and valuables were stolen.  He is thought to be the 16th Premier League player burgled while playing.
