Everton seal loan deal for Manchester City flop Jo

Everton [LNB]have agreed a deal to loan Brazil striker Jo from Manchester City[LNB]until the end of the season. [LNB]Eastlands escape: Jo has joined Everton for the rest of the season[LNB] Manager David Moyes tried to sign the player in the summer from CSKA Moscow but was out-muscled by Manchester City's cash, with the Eastlands club securing the player for £19million. [LNB]But Jo has made little impact with City, scoring three times in 18 games, and will now join Everton on loan until the end of the season. [LNB]There is no agreement that will see the deal becoming a permanent one, with Everton unable to match the sort of money City would want back. [LNB]Jo cannot play on Wednesday in the FA Cup replay against Liverpool because his last appearance for City was in their Cup exit to Nottingham Forest.
