[LNB]Cahill told BBC Radio Merseyside: "At the start of the year [we knew] how difficult it would be trying to fight out of the corner. [LNB]"We're out of the corner and we're up there with the best of them. We need to take this momentum into the next game." [LNB]"In the last couple of months we're starting to play great football," he added.[LNB] [LNB][LNB] "We're working for each other, we had a great game plan against Manchester City, and we knew what we had to do. It seemed to be executed very well and we held our nerve. [LNB]"They put us under pressure a bit, but we played some great football and we have some great characters." [LNB]Since the turn of the year the Toffees have beaten Chelsea, Manchester United and Manchester City, and Cahill insists the squad has always had character. [LNB]"We didn't lack belief, even when we were doing really badly," he said. "We hadn't become a bad team overnight. [LNB]"I speak highly of the chairman and the management staff here for bringing in the right players, and we're sticking together. Whether we have a big squad or a small squad we seem to deliver on the right occasions."
