Everton have turned down bids for strikers Louis Saha and James Vaughan, with manager David Moyes not keen to offload any of his squad members. Turkish club Besiktas offered around £8million for France striker Saha, but Moyes immediately turned down the offer, according to the Daily Post. Stoke City made the bid to sign Vaughan, offering a £2million payment rising to £5m depending on Vaughan's appearances and progress. Moyes said: 'Louis is someone we had a big bid for. But he didn't want to go and we didn't want to sell. It's great news Louis wants to stay.' Vaughan became the youngster goalscorer in Everton and Premier League history when he struck on his debut against Crystal Palace in 2005, but injuries have limited him to just 10 starts for the club.
