Everton link pleases Cluj star

CFR Cluj goalkeeper Mario Felgueiras is flattered by speculation linking him with Everton.

The Portuguese shot-stopper caught the eye during the Romanian side's Champions League campaign, and kept a clean sheet to help Cluj to a win away to Manchester United.

David Moyes could be looking for a new understudy to Tim Howard, with current number two Jan Mucha having hinted he may be looking for regular football in order to resurrect his international career with Slovakia. Felgueiras, who moved to Cluj last summer after a succession of loan spells in Portugal and Romania, has played for his country at youth level but is yet to earn a senior call-up.

"Any player would be interested in playing in the Premier League," Felgueiras declared.

"I am very happy to hear this, but I'm not going to think about this until the end of the season."
