Everton in for Beckham's pal Donovan but striker Saha eyes Goodison exit

Everton are hoping to line up a loan move for America's World Cup midfielder Landon Donovan in the new year but face a real battle to hold on to in-form striker Louis Saha.[LNB]Moyes can ill-afford to lose Saha with concerns lingering about Yakubu's fitness and doubts over when James Vaughan and Victor Anichebe will return to action. [LNB]Manager David Moyes sees the 27-year-old's attacking qualities, either in the centre of midfield or on the flanks, as a valuable addition to his injury-hit squad - on the advice of David Beckham. [LNB] Target: David Moyes would like to sign the American midfielder on loan [LNB]'Landon is a player David Moyes has identified as someone he would like to bring to the club,' said chief executive Robert Elstone.
