Everton in FA Cup semifinal not good enough says Phil Neville

Neville won the FA Cup three times when he was with Manchester United but, should David Moyes's side overcome Middlesbrough at Goodison Park on Sunday, it will be Everton's first trip to the national stadium since Paul Rideout's goal beat the Old Trafford side 14 years ago. But while the club captain admits that is incentive enough, he knows they will have achieved nothing unless they follow it up with a trip back to London in May and leave with a trophy in their hands. "It's one of the biggest games I've played in since I signed for Everton but I'm not looking at it like it's one step from Wembley, I'm concentrating on getting to the final," said Neville, whose performances have contributed to Moyes winning the manager-of-the-month award for February. "Getting to the semi-final does not mean we've done it. We need to get to the final and we need to win a trophy. "It's not that unusual that some of the older players are just as excited as the youngsters at the prospect of being so close to Wembley. "When you start off in football, everything is new and exciting, but it comes full circle, because as you get older you feel you might not get another opportunity like this again."
