Everton have sealed a deal for Portuguese starlet Joao Silva, who has been described as the new Pauleta.[LNB] The 19-year-old youth international is currently with Desportivo Aves, who play in Portugal's second division.[LNB]Silva has had an excellent maiden campaign and has scored 13 goals, which has led to a number of clubs chasing him.[LNB]But Everton have agreed terms on a deal worth around £500,000, with Silva due to move to Goodison Park at the end of the season and he is delighted with the chance.[LNB]"I am calm and working for my club now, but I am happy because to play in the Premier League is a dream for any footballer because it is the best in the world," he said.[LNB]"Everton are a great club, I have seen them on television and they have great players.[LNB]"Due to my own characteristics, I believe it [England] will be perfect for me - it will be an enormous move for me but I am ambitious and will stay positive."[LNB]Silva has been dubbed the new Pauleta, not just because of their similar physique and play, but also because he came through the lower leagues in Portugal, rather than from one of the big clubs.[LNB]"It is a coincidence and an honour to be compared to Pauleta," he said.
