MICHAEL DRUMMOND, Speke[LNB]LAST night was certainly a game of two halves. In the first we saw the best performance that Tim Cahill has had in the last year - constant domination throughout and deservedly taking a two-goal lead going in at half-time.[LNB]The second half started the same, but more and more slowly Sunderland were going forward and looked the more likely to score. Nevertheless, our defending was outstanding. It was good to see Distin put a better performance in and Fellaini, yet again, making that holding role his own.[LNB]Landon Donovan's performances since his arrival have been fantastic and he capped them off with a great goal.[LNB]I only wish that we performed the way we have been lately at the start of the season. If that was the case then I am sure that we would be in the race for fourth, but it's just our luck I suppose!
