TIM Cahill today paid tribute to young-gun Seamus Coleman after the Irishman's man of the match display against Spurs.[LNB]The Aussie, who also scored Everton's equaliser on his 30th birthday, said he was proud of how the defender has responded to a shaky away debut against Benfica in the Europa League earlier in the season.[LNB]He said: 'He was fantastic. I've spoken about the young lads stepping up and taking the opportunity to do well and this is their chance. They've got to take it and be consistent.[LNB]'Now it's about helping Seamus learn how to play in the Premier League. Today showed how well he is learning.'[LNB]Coleman, a £150,000 signing from Sligo Rovers, recovered from a career-threatening injury in the summer when a blister on his foot became infected.[LNB]Cahill said: 'His attitude is one of the best things about him. He never stops, works hard in training and loves being part of the team.[LNB]'As a captain I'm proud of him and he deserves it.'
