Everton will make a new contract offer to Steven Pienaar in the face of increasing interest from Liverpool, Bayern Munich and Manchester City.

The skilful South Africa midfielder has been a top performer for David Moyes's side but has only 15 months left on his contract. Everton made him an offer last summer but that fell short.

Now, with Pienaar's form attracting more admirers, Everton want to tie him to a new deal quickly.

The problem for Everton is that the decision may not come down to money, because Pienaar is likely to have the pick of several Champions League clubs.

Goodison chairman Bill Kenwright would probably block any sale to Liverpool but Bayern and City have the cash to tempt Everton.

Pienaar's agent Ivan Modia said: 'Big clubs are interested but he is still under contract.'
